Scam Alert – Fake Calls
Coffey County District Court has received reports of a phone scam affecting area residents.
In the scam, the person states they are calling about a failure to report for jury duty and a contempt of court warrant. They ask for payment to avoid being arrested. Please be aware this is a scam.
Coffey County District Court will not call regarding a warrant and will not call and ask for payment over the phone.
